Your 40s and 50s are when men’s health risks accelerate — and when comprehensive screening is no longer optional.
Men between 40 and 60 face the highest cardiovascular risk window of their lives — heart attacks in Indian men peak in this decade. Simultaneously, prostate cancer risk becomes clinically significant, bone density begins declining, and lifestyle diseases like diabetes and hypertension that started silently in the 30s start causing organ damage. Koshikaa’s health screening package for men aged 40–60 covers all of this with 24 tests — complete blood panel, organ function, PSA for prostate health, QCT for bone density, cancer markers, and a full imaging panel including Low-dose CT for Lungs, Whole Abdomen Ultrasound, CT Colonography, and ECG.

Checks how well the thyroid gland is working by measuring its hormone levels in the blood.
Measures your blood sugar level after an overnight fast. Elevated readings could be a sign of prediabetes or Type 2 diabetes
This test provides a broader picture of your average blood sugar control over the past 2-3 months, offering a more comprehensive assessment of diabetes risk.
This test measures your total cholesterol, LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, HDL (“good”) cholesterol, and triglycerides. An abnormal lipid profile increases your risk of heart disease and stroke. Early detection allows for lifestyle adjustments and potentially medication to manage cholesterol levels.
Assesses glucose levels after meals to help manage diabetes.
Provides a complete picture of blood’s health, focusing on red cells, white cells, and platelets.
Enhances the quality of samples for examining cells, primarily used in research contexts.
Regular monitoring to prevent hypertension, which can lead to serious cardiovascular problems.
Primarily used to detect liver diseases and as a tumor marker to guide cancer therapy.
Monitors and manages certain types of cancers, including colorectal, pancreatic, and breast cancers.
Typically used to monitor ovarian cancer in women but can help diagnose certain gastrointestinal cancers in men.
Helps diagnose and monitor pancreatic and gastrointestinal cancers.
Examines the characteristics of blood cells, aiding in the diagnosis of blood disorders.
Detects hidden blood in the stool, an early indicator of colorectal cancer.
Essential for prostate health screening, helping detect prostate cancer early.
This painless test records your heart’s electrical activity to detect potential heart rhythm problems or abnormalities in the heart’s structure.
Non-invasively visualizes abdominal organs, assisting in diagnosing pain, swelling, and infection.
A less invasive imaging test used to screen for colorectal cancer and polyps.
I got the men's 40–60 package at Koshikaa on my wife's insistence. Turns out I had borderline cholesterol and an elevated PSA — both flagged early. The report was detailed and the doctor follow-up was excellent.
Complete health screening done in one morning visit. Scans, blood tests, ECG — everything covered. The QCT bone density test was something I'd never done before and turned out to be very useful. Highly recommend.
Koshikaa's men's health package is the most thorough I've had anywhere in Bangalore. Clean facility, no long wait, and the report came the same day with clear interpretation. Will book annually.
I'm a busy professional and kept delaying my annual checkup. Koshikaa's single-visit package made it easy. The cancer markers and PSA results gave me peace of mind. Staff were professional throughout.
This package includes 24 tests — Complete Blood Count (CBC), Kidney Function Tests, Liver Function Tests, Thyroid Function Tests (T3, T4, TSH), Urine Analysis, Fasting Blood Sugar, HbA1c, Lipid Profile, Post Prandial Blood Sugar (PPBS), Haemogram, Liquid Based Cytology (LBC), Urine Routine and Microscopy, Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), CEA, CA-125, Cancer Antigen 19.9, Peripheral Smear Examination, Stool Occult Blood, PSA Test, ECG, Low-dose CT for Lungs, Whole Abdomen Ultrasound, CT Colonography, and CT-based Absorptiometry / QCT for bone density.
CT-based Absorptiometry (Quantitative Computed Tomography or QCT) measures bone mineral density at the spine and hip — the sites most vulnerable to osteoporotic fractures. Men above 40 begin losing bone density, and those with a history of steroid use, low physical activity, or family history of fractures are at elevated risk. Early detection through QCT allows dietary, supplementation, or medication interventions before fractures occur. It is more precise than a standard DEXA scan for early-stage bone loss detection.
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in Indian men and its incidence rises sharply after 45. The PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) blood test detects elevated protein levels that may indicate prostate cancer, prostate enlargement, or inflammation. Catching elevated PSA early allows for further investigation — a prostate MRI or biopsy — before the cancer spreads beyond the prostate gland. Outcomes are dramatically better when detected at this stage.
PSMA PET CT is a specialised advanced imaging test that identifies molecular targets specific to prostate cancer cells. It is listed as an additional test on this package and is recommended by a doctor when PSA levels are elevated or rising, or when prostate cancer has already been diagnosed and staging is needed. It is not part of the standard package but can be added based on your doctor’s recommendation.
Yes, fasting for 10–12 hours is required before blood sugar, lipid profile, and liver function tests. The Whole Abdomen Ultrasound also requires fasting. Avoid ejaculation 48 hours before the PSA test as it can temporarily elevate PSA levels and affect results. CT Colonography preparation will be shared separately. Our team will provide a complete preparation checklist when you confirm your booking.
This package typically takes 3–4 hours including blood tests, urine analysis, ECG, and imaging scans. We recommend a morning slot on a fasting basis. The QCT scan and CT Colonography add some time — your team will schedule these efficiently within your visit.
Once a year is strongly recommended. Heart disease, prostate cancer, and colorectal cancer all become significantly more common in this decade — annual screening ensures any developing condition is caught at its earliest and most treatable stage. Men with existing conditions like diabetes or hypertension, or a family history of heart disease or cancer, may benefit from bi-annual screening of specific markers.
